For years he has travelled to different regions of the world, combining scientific research and photography to document biodiversity and bring us closer to species, ecosystems and processes that often go unnoticed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row align-items-center justify-content-center\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-10 pb-1\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this audiovisual piece produced by Sonda Internacional, Roberto shares the stories behind his photographs and introduces some of the threats facing biodiversity in different parts of the world.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row align-items-center justify-content-center\"><div class=\"col-12 col-md-10 pb-1\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The journey allows us to observe beings we can barely perceive with the naked eye, learn about organisms we know very little about and better understand the ecosystems they belong to. His career combines science and photography as complementary tools for understanding nature and communicating the need to protect it. His research focuses mainly on the ecology and evolution of animal behaviour, while his photographic work documents biodiversity, how it interacts with humans and the conservation challenges facing the natural world in different regions of the planet.
